Inline quick-add feature

A new addition to Zuppler’s online ordering solution is the In line Quick-Add feature. In line Quick-Add gives your guests the ability to quickly add certain items to their cart without having to be taken to the item detail page for customization. This enhancement will help create an even more seamless ordering experience for the user.

From the settings page in Zuppler’s Control Panel, your restaurant can enable one of our two in line quick-add modes for your online ordering platform:

  • Relaxed Mode

  • Strict Mode

Relaxed Mode (desktop view)

In ‘Relaxed Mode’, your customers will see both a ‘Customize’ and ‘Add’ button when they hover over an item.

Customize
When the consumer selects the ‘Customize’ button, they will be redirected to the item detail page for customization. This same functionality will also occur if the user clicks on the image.

ADD
The ‘Add’ button functions as an in line quick-add, depending on the modifiers attached to the item.

If there are 0 REQUIRED modifiers attached to the item, then the item will always be automatically added to the users cart. This functionality occurs even if there are non-required modifiers attached to the item.

If there is 1 REQUIRED modifier attached to the item, then the modifier will be exposed to the user in line so they can seamlessly add the item to their cart. This functionality occurs even if there are non-required modifiers attached to the item.

If there are 2 or more REQUIRED modifiers attached to the item, then the user will be redirected to the item detail page. This would function the same way as if you clicked on the image or ‘customize’ button.

Relaxed Mode (mobile view)

In Mobile view, the functionality is the same for both customize and add as it is for desktop. The difference is that user selects the ‘Price’ button.

If there are 0  REQUIRED modifiers attached to the item, then the item will always be automatically added to the customer’s cart. This functionality occurs even if there are non-required modifiers attached to the item.

If there is 1 REQUIRED modifier attached to the item, then the modifier will be exposed to the user in line so they can seamlessly add the item to their cart. Once the user selects the ‘Price’ button they can either select the required modifier, select customize, or hit the cancel button if they no longer want this item.

If there are 2 or more REQUIRED modifiers attached to the item, then the user will be redirected to the item detail page as soon as they select the ‘Price’ button.

The ‘Add’ button functions as an in line quick-add, depending on the modifiers attached to the item.

If there is only 1 REQUIRED modifier, and no other modifiers, attached to the item, then the modifier will be exposed to the customer in line so they can seamlessly add the item to their cart.

If the item has any more then 1 of any modifier, then the user will be redirected to the item detail page as soon as they select the ‘Add’ button.
