Introducing Zuppler’s Menu Anywhere On Premise™ contactless ordering solution

Zuppler announces the launch of Menu Anywhere On Premise™ Solution for the foodservice industry

Businesses everywhere are adjusting to the new environment caused by Covid-19. For food services, in particular, many states have implemented regulations concerning how to safely and effectively accommodate guest dining. Specifically, public health guidance suggests that multi-use menus should be phased out due to concerns related to the unintended transmission of the virus.

While single-use menus are a temporary way to address this challenge, other issues, such as variable food supply, have created the need for more frequent menu changes that are difficult to address with printed menus.

To address this need, Zuppler has developed an easy way for guests to order and pay while on premises, directly from their mobile devices.

Introducing On Premise Ordering™

On Premise Ordering™ by Zuppler is designed as a way to minimize direct contact between guests and staff. By eliminating the use of physical menus (including single-use printed menus), and replacing them with digital menus that guests can access from a QR code or website address. Guests even have the ability to access the menu and/or submit their food orders prior to arrival at the establishment.

Guests place their customized food orders by sending orders straight to the kitchen or wait staff for fulfillment. Because the guest creates their own order, the potential for staff error is reduced, creating a more efficient dining experience for all. With guests placing their own orders, staff can focus more attention on proper safety precautions, delivering food and beverage items to the table, and contributing to the delight of each and every customer.

Contactless dining has set a new precedent for the guest’s expectations of their dining experience. Digital ordering not only facilitates minimal contact with employees, but the entire ordering experience is much more visual and interactive. With the ability to highlight menu items, display visual modifiers, and showcase the menu in ways that would otherwise be impossible to do with a printed menu, guest ordering is more engaging than ever before.

Menu Anywhere Suite, contactless dining solution by Zuppler

Zuppler’s Menu Anywhere Suite™ enables a personalized and highly interactive experience allowing customers to track the status of their orders, see prior orders and favorite items; while providing dining establishments the ability to serve guests with limited staff, update menus and specials in real-time, capture order history, encourage guests to enroll in loyalty programs, and allow for more efficient operations.

Businesses of any kind- whether a classic restaurant, food truck, hotel, hospital, school, cafeteria, country club, entertainment venue (or so on), have the ability to allow guests to order from their menu, anywhere, at any time.

“As restaurants, hotels, schools, live events and workplaces return in stages across the country, we know that the reimagined dine-in experience for millions of consumers will require significant change. We are excited to add this new on-premise innovation to Zuppler’s Menu Anywhere™ offerings to power food service operators with a safe, secure, personalized and innovative menu tool that gives consumers what they desperately want: a return to good food with the experience of eating outside the home in a safe manner,” said Shiva Srinivasan, Zuppler Founder and CEO.

Adaptability, and flexibility with On Premise Ordering™

It won’t be difficult whatsoever for guests to adapt to contactless ordering. Many restaurant guests are already familiar with the process of ordering menu items online. Likewise, the staff is familiar with receiving online orders either through a tablet or a restaurant POS system. The natural evolution is to expand well-known experiences online to the dine-in ordering process.

An additional concern for the food establishment is the variable food supply, causing many restaurants to modify their menus and frequently re-adjust available items. Menus used for dine-in guests need to accommodate these frequent adjustments without increased cost or additional effort. Menus can be easily updated in real time to allow for last-minute menu changes or price adjustments to increase orders for certain specials.

Dining reimagined, and smarter than ever

As restaurants and businesses reopen their doors and adjust to new health and safety guidelines, it is crucial for foodservice establishments to reimagine dining altogether. Reinvent how guests dine-in at your establishment with On Premise Ordering™, by Zuppler.

Guests now have the ability to extensively personalize their orders, and the system can dynamically and visually showcase additional customizable options. Listing add-ons and item up-sells will help increase average ticket sizes. Guests will also be able to stay informed about the status of their order with Zuppler’s order notifications that give time estimates for food preparation, as well as when the food will be ready.

A traditional dining environment has never been conducive for capturing guest information to encourage customers’ return visits. With a contactless ordering solution, food operators can capture guest information-- essential for re-marketing efforts, email campaigns, and enrolling guests in a loyalty program in exchange for real-time discounts applied to dine-in meals. Additionally, loyal guests will be able to see their last order, favorite items, and their entire order history. Customers can also get started on placing an order, and save it for later for ordering at home, or in-person.

Because all orders will be processed within one system, greater analysis can be conducted about orders by item, day and time, on and off-premises, loyalty members vs. guest checkout, and more. Businesses will be able to make better decisions, as well as serve more guests with fewer wait staff, which will improve the restaurant’s bottom line.

Your Business and Zuppler’s Menu Anywhere Suite™

Dine-in guest contact with wait staff can be limited to explaining menu specials, delivering food, and clearing plates. Because Zuppler is already connected to many POS systems, dine-in orders can be sent straight to the POS system for order fulfillment.

Staff is able to receive food orders from any Android or IOS compatible device, including tablets and smartphones. Anyone with a smartphone can conveniently receive orders with Zuppler’s OrderZupp 2.0 mobile app.

Along with On Premise Ordering™, Contactless Delivery, and Curbside Pickup are also part of Zuppler’s Menu Anywhere Platform™.  When a guest orders food for delivery from your restaurant or Google, they can choose the Contactless Delivery option, and select how the delivery driver will handle order drop-off, with various options. You can also enable a Curbside Pickup option that allows guests to drive up to your storefront while your staff brings the order out to the vehicle listed during the checkout process.
