Google Online Ordering FAQs
To sign up, you’ll need to complete the agreement + settings form followed by the banking form.
We recommend to have the following handy as it will be needed to complete the partnership agreement: Restaurant contact information, online ordering settings (hours, prep time, kitchen close time, sales tax), delivery settings/rules (if applicable), and banking information
Google online ordering is 10% per transaction and 3% credit card processing fee.
After signing up, your dedicated account manager will reach out to you and the following onboarding process will take place:
- Thurs: Corporate will be notified who will then notify Chowly.
- Fri: Chowly will send Zuppler information to plug into POSaaS and configuration will begin.
- Mon - Weds: Your account manager will validate settings and set up your user access.
- Thurs: Your account will be published to Google and ready to begin taking orders within 24-48 hours.
Yes, if you find that for any reason Google Online Ordering is not right for your franchise, please email us at dickeys@zuppler.com and we will remove your restaurant from the Google Channel.
If you opt out of Google Online Ordering, but later decide you want to have your franchise added back to the Google Channel you may reach out to your Account Manager at jackie@zuppler.com to complete the process!
Google orders from Zuppler will be sent straight to your Chowly POS system. .
If you have delivery setup with Zuppler, all of your delivery settings will pull over into Google.
Before the user is able to order delivery, Google first prompts them to enter their address to make sure that they are within your delivery zone.
- Zuppler’s customer charges/fees are lower than the majority of 3rd party services.
- Currently, Zuppler is one of the few options that allow future ordering.
Customers will place their order by logging into their gmail account.
Customers will pay using their Google Pay, which is linked to their Gmail account.
Google Online Ordering is great for obtaining orders from out of town visitors, new customers, and people who are new in the area. They will be able to search for food around them, discover your business, and be able to easily place an online order and experience the delicious tastes your restaurant has to offer!
