I will stick to my chicken dishes going forward :)

on Jan 14, 2012 10:23 AM -05:00Guessing they were busy this night, because the food came 20+ minutes late and the tofu in the ma po tofu wasn’t cooked properly — it was still silky and disintegrated instantly, as if it were just out of the package. But everything else was good, and this was the first time I’d been even a little disappointed by New Tea Garden. I’ll be back.

on Dec 18, 2011 02:09 PM -05:00Very nice folks, but the food just wasn’t good. The large order of Shrimp & Scallops in lobster sauce, had 2 shrimp and 3 Scallops in it. The Singapore Noodles had some kind of strange powdery spice on it. The Kung Pao Chicken had carrots and peppers in it unlike any I’ve had in dozens of very good Chinese restaurants. The beef and broccoli was ok, but nothing special. I will not get food from there again.

The woman who works there is very friendly. I have had an order that was missing an item and there was no problem with them bring it out to us.

on Aug 18, 2011 09:10 AM -04:00Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed with the quality of the two things we ordered…the soup was totally inedible with mushy noodles and flavors that just didn’t work at all. The entire thing went into the garbage disposal. The noodle/veggie dish was slightly better, but the noodles were again mushy and it was flavorless. Sad, because the delivery woman was kind and considerate and very pleasant.

Two Udon dishes — a soup (ginger and oyster), which was the worst thing I’ve ever gotten in my entire life, aside from sea urchin sashimi — and Shrimp & Veg Sauteed Udon Noodles. The noodles were mushy and could not be eaten in either dish.
Yes, the delivery woman was very pleasant and kind, but the food was just too disgusting to ever try again.
