on Dec 08, 2009 02:49 AM -05:00 Sign In to Tweet and earn 10 pointsI have had the best Turkish Food in Divan Turkish Kitchen in the last few years. I am from Manhattan NY and none of the 40 Turkish Restaurants in NYC could even come close to the taste of kebobs Divan serves.
I would strongly recommend the juicy and tender chicken shish kebob $11.50, my wife’s spinach dumplings $9.50 was mouth watering too.
Very healty food and the prices were very reasonable. The desserts, Kazandibi and baklava was out of this world. Fortunately, I come to Philly once a week and Divan is what I miss the most when I am in NYC. :-)
Divan Turkish Kitchen is one the best restaurants I have ever been within all other cuisne restaurants.

The only dishes I’ve had and haven’t loved are the two chicken kabob entrees. The lamb here is divine, and among the best I’ve had in the city. I like the atmosphere, which feels like you are eating in someone’s home (a pretty home). Pricey and heavy but good…
