on Jan 28, 2012 12:46 PM -06:00Our order came about 40 minutes late! I had to call twice and when it finally arrived the driver didn’t say anything about it! However, every time I called the workers were very understanding and gave me a free sandwich. Just wish the they could get things figured out because the food is great but the service the last couple times we ordered has not been the best.

on Jan 14, 2012 08:59 AM -06:00We order from here almost every other week. I order almost the same thing every time and have never had a problem. This time I was unhappy with my sandwich. I ordered it with no lettuce and no tomatoes and when it arrived it came COVERED in lettuce and tomatoes. While pulling all these off (shredded lettuce is not hard to get off!), most of the sauce is removed with it, not to mention it still had the "lettuce and tomato" taste to it that I hate! I was disappointed to say the least.

on Jan 01, 2012 12:10 PM -06:00The food came very quickly. The Pepper Turkey was as expected and is a good sandwich. Unfortunately, the Focaccia – Roast Turkey was completely wrong. They sent a sandwich called a Turkey Grinder instead, and even that wasn’t as expected, it didn’t have the cheese that was listed on the menu. This was the first time we have had a mixup like this, we will continue to order, but it was very disappointing since we did not like the sandwich that was sent and would never have ordered it.

on Nov 21, 2011 01:07 PM -06:00They forgot an item (Nantucket Nectars – Orange Mango) and still charged me for the item. I tried to call Costellos twice but the phone rang for almost 5 minutes each time and no one ever picked up. I would like a refund.

on Oct 31, 2011 11:46 AM -05:00Used to eat in at Costello’s when I was in Lincoln Square often but hadn’t had it for a while; was glad to have it delivered and find that the Mess is still awesome. If you don’t know what you’re getting into, you may not like it, but it’s exactly as advertised — which is awesome. Partner had the Village Vegetarian sandwich and liked it. Got the deluxe and Tuna Pineapple Pasta Salad and Mac & Cheese were also delicious — though not enough, but that’s a ‘small’ for you. Getting hungry again just thinking about it.

on Oct 07, 2011 07:10 AM -05:00Ordered food around 2:30 and wasn’t delivered until about 3:10. Not sure if this was a busy time and that was the reason for delayed delivery time. Will try again at different time to see if it makes a difference.

Mac and cheese side dish was the best item but amount of side dish was small…coleslaw not as tasty as expected..hence so so rating..would only order the chipotle mac and cheese again in the future..
